Two gorgeous boy-cats for a loving home -
must be placed by December 1st!
They're 5.5 year old neutered brothers. They have their claws, but they don't scratch or bite. I tend to trim them so I don't get scratched by accident when playing with them. American Short Hair, with thick, very soft pettable coats. They tolerate a brush pretty well about once a week, and I make sure to incorporate lots of pettings and treats to make it as positive an experience as possible.
ETA: They are both
indoor only kitties too!
I'm very sad that I need to let them go, but it's best for them. It's been a long time coming, has required a great deal of thinking, and I've put this off as long as possible. I've had them for 4 years, and they've been wonderful companions, but my life is shifting in a way that makes it more and more difficult for me to care for them, and provide a stable environment.
Squeemus:
He's a lap kitty, with an irresistible purr. He plops down next to me or on my lap and insists that I rub his cheeks, then looks up adoringly with his bright green eyes. He's my "empath" kitty - if I'm feeling down, he notices and lavishes ME with extra attention and love.
He's addicted to the laser pointer, and has killer Matrix-wall moves when you get him going. Loves the cat nip, though it took him awhile to decide he liked it.
Squeemus is mostly black, with some lighter spots and stripes, and gray belly.
( 2 pics of Squeemus )Moloko:
I call him my reincarnated dog. He loves to play fetch, and lick the outside of my ice cream container. He loves toys on strings attached to a stick, and he means business!
He never used to purr, or sit longer than a minute or so for pettings, but he's mellowed out greatly over the years. He now insists on pettings almost as often as Squeemus, and has a very deep purr.
He has light green eyes. A medium gray coat, with silver chin/belly/feet.Just a hint of striping on him. Definite cat nip fiend - keep it in a cupboard he can't reach!
( 2 pics of Moloko )They've lived with other kitties before, and have gotten along reasonably well - either ignoring cats who don't want to be friends, or becoming friends and playing and napping together. Very well litter box trained - they don't go pissing all over the place!
I'd greatly prefer to place them in a loving home with people who are experienced cat caretakers, and can offer an appropriate environment for my boys - no college partiers please! Also, it would be best if you were a very long-term to permanent caretaker. They should be treated with respect and love, and not as playthings to be handed off the moment they are inconvenient.
